While we enjoy the beauty and joy of weddings, as professionals, we are so deeply knitted in the fiber of our beings to engage in photo-journalism that tells stories that bring social awareness to various causes whether it is hunger, diseases, micro-finance, clean water, conflict. Our humanitarian/documentary photography focuses on Africa, even though given an opportunity we would love to go further and document issues in Asia, the Middle East and South America. I multitasked on this wedding, shooting both still and video. The result is not bad. I am quickly and assuredly getting the thrill to thrust fully into wedding cinematography in Lancaster, PA and beyond. We have been buying tools that we need to effectively do this, and we are almost good to go. This is a wedding video of highlights from Brittany and Adam’s wedding that we photographed this past week-end in Lock Haven, PA, in the State College area. I am beginning to enjoy shooting wedding videos very much and once we save up, we will buy a slider, a stabilizer, Final Cut Pro X, and possibly jump onto the Canon band wagon. The video was shot on Nikon D3s and is handheld.

Hi! We are excited to announce a limited offer for a free engagement photos session for brides and grooms in Lancaster, Pennsylvania and beyond. The free engagement session (and possibly a free engagement video!) is for those who will book with us their wedding photography between today (August 01, 2011) through the end of the month (August 31, 2011). Once you have booked, the session does not expire until the end of 2012 – what I am saying is, all you need to do this month is just reserve your date, and then you can have your engagement session whenever you want – tomorrow, next month, next year….
The free engagement session is for up to two locations that are within 15 miles of Lancaster city, Pennsylvania. If your session is much further than that, some fees such as gas may apply. Contact us to clarify. We would love this to be absolutely free. We would encourage you to offer some of your savings from the free shoot to charity (but that is entirely up to you). We can recommend some non profits if you would like.

I usually feel weird seeing myself on video.In fact, I feel more weird hearing myself talk!!!! Thankfully, in this video, my voice is muted, but then you will totally understand what we are showing you – the stress balls that I throw around the house and make Sonya bad, and the albums that we design and are endearing to brides. We love to design albums for our clients. We prefer doing this other than outsourcing this service. But as well all know, the practicality of doing that for all our clients isn’t possible. Suffice it to say that so often we get orders for custom designed and laid out page by page by ourselves. This service is available even for those who have already had their weddings but want something very special for their treasured memories. If you are one of those, then you need to have the photo files in soft copy (plus the necessary copy right releases where necessary). This is a wedding video of Genevieve & David. Their wedding was also featured in Dream Weddings, a reality television show in Central Pennsylvania. Genevieve and David also won a competition from NBC Television (Today Show). We were honored to do their wedding photography. The cinematography was our first try and we were not hired to do it, even though we now officially offer wedding cinematography/videography in Lancaster and the whole of Central Pennsylvania. We filmed using a Sony professional camcorder. In hindsight, we should have taken advantage of our D3s and lenses especially for the inside shots.
